There's a guy in Richmond, Virginia named King Nutt. You could pull off several firsts and a second and maybe a fifth and a seventh because you've got that much invested in. He ended up on the radio now and then talking sports. What happened on Saturday is not gonna happen on Sunday, just like what happened on Friday night doesn't happen on Saturday. He's even got good life advice.
SPEAKER_01You slap your wife, you're going to jail. With this kind of talent, he needs a sidekick. We'll call him Fabio. And I like the way you're talking. With cell phone in hand, he's a sports talk freak show.
SPEAKER_05How are they gonna be able to bond as a team? And that defense hasn't proven anything. They're gonna be able to put up a ton of points, possibly, but how many are they gonna give up?

SPEAKER_03I hope that is accurate for personal reasons outside of my grass. Here or there? Or both? Both. Thanks for I appreciate that. John Brunier says we've been off for a week. I was on vacation, enjoyed it. Great time. My family is probably better that I didn't say I was on a vacation. Maybe Fabio and Rodney were on a vacation from me. But a lot happened over this Father's Day weekend. Happy Father's Day to both of you and all the people that tune into this fine, fine podcast. A lot happened over this weekend. We're going to cover, I'll get into the College World Series. We'll touch on that a little bit. Some racing, we'll get to that a little bit later. But first, Fabio and Rodney, I'm going to get Rodney's opinion on this first. I started watching golf yesterday and my wife knew Father's Day. I'm out shopping. I got a rug to get. I got a bunch of sh and I can see this big boy is going to lay on that sofa with a bourbon and he's going to flip sports channels, which at all does not interest her. Rodney, what did you see? What did you think? Let me go back. Let's change. What did you think when that thing teed off yesterday? You were watching the tea times. What was going to happen?
SPEAKER_04What did you see? I was extremely excited that Scotty made it into the final group and thought he would make a run. And it just shows you how golf is literally a game of inches or a couple feet. The first three holes he could have picked up at least two or three shots. And his balls were barely missing. And the gentleman that won Windham on the first hole, he hit a ball that stopped a foot and a half, maybe two feet from going into the bunker. Then he hits one that's in the really thick stuff. It bounces about 25 yards forward somehow into the short stuff. It's just one of those things about golf. They all have breaks that go their way, and that's why they win. They're all super competitive. They're all really good. But this weekend was Wyndham Clark's. It was his weekend that things went his way. Congratulations to him. The other Burns gentleman made a really good run and some great putts and a lot of just fabulous shots. That's a super difficult course. Super difficult course. And then with the wind blowing, very difficult. Fun to watch.
SPEAKER_03I agree, except for one part. I, being the great golfer that I am, don't think don't think I would have been affected by the wind. I'm saying, Ira, before I turn to you, I saw three specific putts on Shuffler that looked like they were perfect reads, perfect breaks, and right at the end the ball would turn. Did the wind have something to do with putts?
SPEAKER_04So, real quick, he had one and I don't remember if it was first or second hole. It was just over a three-foot putt. Didn't even touch the cup. Yeah. That never happens with pros. They lip them out. Well. But he had one on 16 or 17 that was tracking perfectly, and at the last split second, rolled off barely to the right.
SPEAKER_03It was really I'd be a scratch golfer instead of a 97-98 if my putts would just fall when I put them.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Just saying. It's an easy game. Fabio, what did you see in that tournament?
SPEAKER_06A couple of things that y'all just talked about. I think we need to expand on a little bit. As far as the greens go, those are Poana greens, which later in the day start to grow seed heads on them. So the last groups obviously have the harder conditions, all the spike marks around the hole, all those type of things. Definitely plays into it. Harder greens to read. And if you think about the shadows, too, a lot of times the uh the boosts that they have around the greens throw different uh shadows on the green, which makes it a little bit harder to read as as the day gets longer. So a lot more things that they have to deal with during that. And I do think it's the one of the two toughest tests that we have in golf. I think it's the British Open. I think it's a harder test than the U.S. Open. Uh, you think of we only had three guys that finished under par yesterday for the entire tournament, is what part of it makes it so good. I was a little disappointed in the fans, the way that they treated Wyndham Clark. Most of it stemmed from uh last year at Oakmont when he missed the cut. He um had a tantrum in the locker room and destroyed some stuff there. And uh since then he's paid for the damages, he's gone through anger management, but it seemed like the crowd was really against him verbally, screaming, you know, cheering when he hit bad shots. Uh it's just it seemed a little disappointing. I mean, the man played really well. He played great for three days, and I thought yesterday was going to be a challenge for him, and it was. Nobody goes through the U.S. Open typically without one at least one round where they're really struggling. And and yesterday was his struggle, but on the back nine, he showed that type of U.S. Open champion that he is. He's already won it once. He won he won it in LA a couple years ago and ended up winning yesterday. Uh Rodney talked about Sam Burns. Sam Burns put on a great back nine yesterday. I thought he was going to finish at four under and he missed a couple of putts there coming in to get the four under, but played really good. And Scotty's just missing putts by an inch this way or an inch that way. It seems like his putters letting him down uh recently. He's always in the hunt. He just seems he can't get over that hump this year uh like he did uh the last couple years. And it would have been great to see him finish the Grand Slam this year at uh 29 years old, but uh I guess he'll go to uh Pebble Beach next year and try to get it there. But I thought it was a really good week of golf.
SPEAKER_03Story of my life is missing an itchier inch there. I'm just gonna share that with you. I could say that. Secondly, here's another thing we're gonna get into later anger management. Let the guy be the guy. If he wants to break shit up, let him break it up. I I don't Anger management. First off, I think it's a wonderful, gorgeous name, Wendham Clark, but you had to know when you named him that people are gonna have something against him. I'm just telling you, that sounds like something off one of them Eddie Murphy movies, you know, the money show and all that shit. I'm just I thought golf was great on Father's Day yesterday, and I kept Zach bet 25 on Scheffler to come back through, it would have paid 766. I had a chance to take five dollars for the field against Wyndham Clark. Five would have paid 32, and I didn't. I bet Scheffler like a dumbass, and I bet everybody on that race, I'll get to that later, except for the guy that got handed the victory, and we'll get into that.
SPEAKER_04How about the guy that shot? 70 70 70 70. Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_03First time it's ever been done. You ever seen me play? 99, 99, 99, 99. One of those. Anyone in the triple digits. Uh no one. I'm picking a ball up you didn't know was mine. So I may go into triple digits out of that. Rodney, now I'm gonna get into this too. We we had a lot of argument over something I think is no longer to me a social issue. The Pride Night thing with on in Major League Baseball. And then you had some people of faith that had put verses on their hats or arms, and then Major League Baseball having to fit over it but not remembering all the stuff about Free Cuba, and they let all that go. Two things on this, Rodney. First is uh baseball standards changed a little bit, so I want you to cover that some, but then get into can't we just be people and get along?
SPEAKER_04Well, I am a firm believer of you know there's different people everywhere, and we've had this discussion many times. You can still be good people and have different beliefs. And I think there's times you should be able to sit down and talk or have a conversation with someone and just uh agree to disagree. That's not a bad thing, or just have a different belief, but be respectful to each other. That's the bottom line to me, is be respectful to each other.
SPEAKER_03No matter who you are. What I mean, either side. You you could be a pastor and somebody could think very differently than you, but it's okay to respect each other and talk to each other. That's how we should act. Just be a good human. Absolutely. Somebody you your disagreement should not lead to somebody else's anger. You should be able to disagree and still have some common ground.
SPEAKER_04I enjoy conversations when I can have uh a sit down with someone that has different views and they can tell me why they feel the way they feel, and that can help me understand why they feel that way and what their belief is. And hopefully I can do the same for them.
SPEAKER_03You learn a lot through it.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely.
SPEAKER_03Now we're bringing it into sport as a mandate. Locker rooms, and you know this from being on softball teams with me, there are teams that get along extremely well that look different, act different, and come from different places, still have common ground, still go break bread together, or still get prepared in a dugout. What does this do when they mandate this kind of thing to be?
SPEAKER_04I just think it's really difficult to try to push something on someone. I don't think you're gonna get the result that you want. You're pushing things that don't necessarily need to be pushed. Again, have conversations about it, have people sit down and discussion, but to push things on people is really difficult because you're gonna get pushback and then you're gonna end up with more people arguing and fussing and fighting, and it's more detrimental than it is positive.
SPEAKER_03Well, I think the recognition is not the problem I have with me. It's the the inability to recognize the other side of the thought. If you disagree with me, I'm okay with that. And as you well know, a lot of people disagree with me on certain things. I tend to be heavily opinionated. It doesn't mean I'm right, and you said something earlier, and Fabio, I'm gonna get to this after he covers his baseball analysis. Sometimes if you're quiet enough when you have disagreements with somebody and they have that conversation you talked, you often learn. But you have to be able to willing to sit down the table first and be that good human to be able to have that conversation. So now that we've beat that to death, what's happening in baseball? What's happening to the damn Braves? I said ten games and win it, they're around seven now, right? Or six and a half. Six and a half. Philly's playing well. Because who's managing them now? Donnie Baseball. Correct. And he moved my twin, Kyle Schwarber, to first base because he said Bryce Harper needed some time off his feet.
SPEAKER_04How about the other day when one hit for a cycle and one hit three home runs? Yeah. Philly's looking good. Sticking with my sticking with my pick. Atlanta, Milwaukee. And as much as this is probably a homer, if the Yankees can get their starting pitching to stay healthy, they're gonna be tough. They I think they'll make some moves to help that goalpen. Goalpen has struggled, did a little better lately, but they struggled for a while, and they're gonna be tough. If you have those three studs starting, they're gonna be tough to beat in the playoffs.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Ira, complete games are an issue now compared to when we were kids, right? They don't have to be. What do you think? And I'm gonna guess if you're listening, I want you all to send us an email, send us a Facebook message, find out. We're not gonna research the exact percentage, but what was the percentage of complete games in nineteen eighty versus the percentage of complete games right now? Ira, what do you think they were?
SPEAKER_06Nineteen eighty you're probably upwards of fifty, fifty-two, fifty-three percent, and I'd say you're probably five percent now. I think in eighty you're probably closer to thirty.
SPEAKER_04And today less than five.
SPEAKER_03Probably two or three. Zach brings it up all the time when he's watching Paul Skeens. Here's a guy that's six and six or six and seven with a two-one ERA, and it's because they pull him in the sixth inning, seventh inning, a hundred pitches, and then bullpen comes in and gets a sh beat out of him, it's done. By the way, if something's happened to a piece of property of you, car, house, anything, renter, if you had Rodney Cole insurance agency, they could cover it. We talked about the Braves and the Phillies being a surprise. Now the surprise is kind of uh out of the package. Let's say the gift is open. Do the Phillies catch the Braves?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I think they do. Uh and we were all shocked at how the Braves took off this year. The Phillies are just a more talented team. I do see them catching them. I think it'll be close, but I see them catching them towards the end of the year. Rodney, do they catch them?
SPEAKER_04Are you still like the Braves? I think they'll make a run at them, but I think the Braves will hold on.
SPEAKER_03Fabio or American League, you still like who you like over there.
SPEAKER_06I don't see much changing in the American League. Yankees are going to be tough. The Rays are going to be give them, they'll probably get the wild card out there. And I think that's the two most talented teams in the in the whole American League. It's those two right there. So I think that's who it'll come down to at the end of the year. See who goes in the World Series. And I still think it'll be the Dodgers coming out of the uh National League. They're fractional points away from having the best record in baseball right now. So and they really haven't played that good, and they're pulling away in their their nine or ten games up, I believe, in their division already. So it's not a contest there, it's just a contest between them who's going to have the best record.
SPEAKER_04Cy Young, both all the time. I don't think he'll win the Csy Young. It's hard for him not to win the MVP if he stays healthy because he's so productive on both sides.
SPEAKER_03How would you like to have a guy on your team that's just that damn good and ain't got a clue what you're saying to him? I'd love for Schwarber to win it.
SPEAKER_04He's what's he got, 30 home runs close to it?
SPEAKER_03And he looks just like a young Bryant Snee. I he is king nut all over. And he's playing first base now. In fact, when I get back to playing, I'm benching whoever I had on first and I'm going to play there myself. I'm going to tell him get off your feet.
SPEAKER_06Hey, before we leave, I thought you were going to give us the answer on this baseball question, but you didn't. Did you look it up? So I went ahead and looked it up. So in 1980, 19.8% of all games were complete games. Today? Yeah. Today, as of last year, 1.19.
SPEAKER_03Okay. So first off, neither one of you listening. I said I wanted the listeners to give us that. We were not going to research it, but you two damn geniuses have already taken. So fans, I want you to now send messages a bit about kind of turds I'm working with here that don't listen to the damn guy that asked the question. However, we're moving to NASCAR now. NASCAR and these damn Toyotas. So Weigel, our engineer, sent us a question yesterday. How come the Fords qualified so well here and they normally don't? My answer was I think the arrow package meant less on the road course than it did somewhere else. However, it didn't prevent these damn Toyotas from having, you know, half a damn top 10. First off, Fabio, how what kind of run was that Hamlin was on for three or four weeks there?
SPEAKER_06He was on a heater, wasn't he? He was just uh by far the most dominant car. And for him, yesterday, a top 15 was almost like a win to him, but he was just uh hands down the best driver in NASCAR right uh as of right now. Uh better than the best equipment. Yeah. Yeah, better than Reddick. Oh, better than Reddick.
SPEAKER_03How don't you know the new points thing, Reddick's still in a point lead, but it's it it's slimmed because he's gonna cut a tire yesterday. I'm gonna get into that. He did. That's all so how cool was it? Because you know, speaking of division in America, people are giving NASCAR for having a race on a naval base, and and we're wasting money and excess shouldn't have been there, et cetera, et cetera. I thought it was a pretty damn good race, the the part of it I got to watch towards the end. I think I watched the last 30 some laps. What made the the cars that were dominant IR what what happened to Van Gaze, what the the SVG?
SPEAKER_06What happened to him? He got caught up in somebody else's mess. Um the guy that won Austin Hill, the one that won the uh O'Reilly's race on Saturday, ended up on the front row of a restart and then in the first turn forgot how to drive uh and took out probably three or four of the best cars in that wreck. Um so SVG got taken out, Connor Zillich got taken out, Ty Gibbs got the front of his car knocked off. Uh all people we bet on, by the way. All people be bet on. Michael McDowell was caught up in it. He was a really good road crazy road racer, but he ended up coming back to 10th. But he ran out of talent. I guess that's the easiest way to say it. He ran out of talent in turn one.
SPEAKER_03Like Richard Petty said in Dale Earnhardt's first race at Martinsville. He said, he started behind me and somehow down around turn one, he cut through the grass and ended up on my hood. He said, I don't know what the hell happened there. But he and he said, and that was my introduction to Dale Earnhardt. Now, there we're we're gonna have a show in the middle of the summer where we're gonna do 100% all NASCAR in the history of it, meaning how the Petties had Ralph Earnhardt drive from what happened, why was David Pearson, what Petty said was the best driver in history because of his limited starts, will go there. But tell me, Ira, those last 10 laps in this race yesterday, what stuck out to you during those 10 laps?
SPEAKER_06You know, what I saw, and I I believe it to be true, was those first two cars, uh Tyler Reddick and Corey Helm, just did not believe they needed to conserve tires like at the beginning of the race. And I think what they saw versus what everybody else saw was that the track had absorbed a lot of the rubber, which was making the tire wear easier on the cars. And they were turning laps that were quicker than the qualifying laps there at the end of the race. And Corey just kept putting heat after heat after heat on Reddick, and he would back off of you know, half a quarter of a second, half a second a lap. And then during the fast part of the sec uh track, which was the second half of it, had long sweeping turns, long straighter ways, straightaways, seemed like he was better in that part of the racetrack, which was allowed him to keep the pressure on Reddick. Redick is a good road course racer. Corey Helm is as well, uh, obviously with the wind that he had yesterday. I just think the constant pressure that he kept putting on him just became too much for uh for him. And uh one slip up and uh he got inside him on that turn, and uh I thought they raced each other really clean. Uh, I think your your opinion of what the 45 car did uh uh doesn't equal what Corey Helm would have pre what it what he appreciated, but uh he thought he got into him and uh roughed up his teammate a little bit, so he backed off and let Corey get the lead, which I think he believed he could get back around him because put the pressure on him.
SPEAKER_03He knew he couldn't give he got a radio call from MJ that said, Hey, bud, be the do the right thing. Dale Earnhardt would have drove Mike Skinner through that wall. Jimmy Johnson would have hit without any kind of damn empathy. He'd have knocked Jeff Gordon in there. The team come on, man. It's like watching the World Cup. We could have been watching golf. You don't hit a guy and say, Oh, my bad. Here, take it. That's like Rodney playing golf, and he's 60 yards past me in driveway, and he brings his ball back to mind to hit. So we can be even. Continue. Sorry, I'm not sure. It would probably be 80 yards, but that's cool. Golly. The ball kicking that goes on in this show. The ball kicking.
SPEAKER_04We're a tag team over here, Babio. That's right. It would have to be a handicap ask for both of us.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, Lee. So let me add me ask you. You were getting ready to say a guy. I'm just going to ask you this. Are the Toyota's equipment or the drivers, Toyota? Are the equipment or the drivers that far superior to the rest of the field right now?
SPEAKER_06I think it's the equipment and a couple of the drivers. I wouldn't say all of them, but I mean, like Bubba Wallace yesterday had an amazing car. Ran a good race in a Toyota, right? Kyle Larson continues to be the best Chevrolet, no matter where they're at. He's typically the best Chevrolet. Zane Smith recently is the is the best Ford. Sometimes he doesn't get the results for it, but the last five or six races, he's been the fastest forward. I would love to see Zayn Smith get signed to the 48 car because I don't believe that Bowman will be back in it next year. Zane Smith could make a statement in that car, I believe. As far as the qualifying, all the guys are super talented. And they can be really super talented for one lap. And I think that's what you're seeing out of some of this qualifying, especially out of the Fords. You're seeing them be able to hold it together for one lap. But over time, the arrow package and the handling goes away quicker on the Fords and the Chevy's do this year. So far, it could flip-flop anytime. NASCAR could, you know, make an adjustment to a couple of things, but I believe that's what you see when it comes to qualifying. And obviously the shorter tracks, it means the least, and you're going to see more of those guys up front uh during that. Yeah, the only exception has been Larson. He's been there every week. Yeah. So I don't think his equipment was as good as those guys in front of him yesterday.
SPEAKER_04I don't either. I mean, he even got passed by Bubba Wallace. Bubba Wallace is going to have as good equipment as anybody on that course.
SPEAKER_03I I don't disagree, but my point is Larson and Ira said Larson's there all the time. However, Bubba may have had the same equipment the 45 and the 67 did, and the 11 and 19 and 20, and all of those Tyoters running through Gibbs' shop somewhere, he still, you know, now yesterday made up two laps. I mean, I give the guy credit, tip your cap to him, he came back through there the way he should have. Quickly before we move off Snap Car, because I got two things that are just burning through the end of my stockings. Who is the guy, if you needed to pick a wild card right now to throw a wrench, and it could be a Toyota drive, but in the Toyotas that are the top as this chase starts, who's it gonna be? So a wild card.
SPEAKER_06So we're not gonna pick Hamlin, we're not gonna pick Redick, right? Right.
SPEAKER_03I mean, you're I'm saying that's who I I'm telling you, the Toyotas are dominant. Redick, Hamlin, you know, you're gonna have people up there, but who is that wild card that could, even if they're driving a Toyota, who's somebody that's gonna sneak in maybe and give these guys some kind of run for their money?
SPEAKER_06He hasn't had a very good year so far, but I believe he's overdue. He ran decent yesterday, but I think it's Chase Briscoe. He's driving a Toyota, but I still still think he has something he'll be somebody to be reckoned with here towards the end of the year. I still go back to Osevar.
SPEAKER_04I just think he's a good driver. He's not gonna have the equipment to fight with these guys probably to win a championship. But on any given race, if it's a track that fits his car better, he's not a road course guy. Am I correct, Fabio? Yeah, but he did run good yesterday. Yeah, but he who turned him?
SPEAKER_03Who turned him? The guy that won the race. Oh yeah. Ironically, same some bitch that got turned and somebody said, Oh, my bad here. Did he give the spot back to him? Hell no, he spots he picked up. Turned the other way. Yeah, he was 30 some for so he had to wait for everybody to go by. It's like somebody in a funeral procession. Once you see the headlights on, you gotta stop. Let everybody come by, take your cap off. Like uh, what was the old the guy that was a comedian never cussed or any of the old guy that did the dogs and golly, I can't think of his name. I don't know why, but uh he told a story once that he was uh when you were in the south as a kid and a funeral procession came by and you were sitting down like outside the barbershop or something, you stood up, took your cat off, and he said happened to him one time and he's taking the side. The guy looked at him and said, Who died? And he said, The fella up there in the front car. He ain't wrong. That's exactly right. So I uh NASCAR is gonna get heated. I did not like that about push him and then let him back by. That that that ain't NASCAR, boys being boys. That's teammates, some kind of boy. Old teammates, again, Skinner, Earnhardt, Johnson Gordon, E. Blaney, and Logano. Hell, Logano with anybody. Kurt Bush, Kyle Bush. If they ran you into the damn wall, that's where you were staying. They didn't let you back by.

SPEAKER_03I'm going to go through this very quickly and then we're going to hit this College World Series, Rodney, and I'll ask your theory on that. This World Cup bullshit. First off, it's soccer. People are all mayhem, and we pick some of the greatest dumps in our society, like Seattle, to put our American team in. Now I'm pulling for the home team. I want the stars and stripes to win. This World Cup means something to me because America's in it. I don't have political disagreements about that. But I went on vacation last week, and at one point my granddaughter didn't want to take a nap, and I never see this out there, but she threw the biggest hissy fit on the planet, jumped up and down. She's two. Next month she's two. Every soccer player out there does the same thing on any brushing. They fall down like somebody's kicked them in the crotch, the nuts, the shin, and everything, and they barely touch each other. When is this shit gonna stop? When can that Chase br not Chase Briscoe, Tyler Reddick, that whole move was soccer. It was golf. It's not a gentleman's sport. Play the damn game. I already give you tip my hat. You run for 90 minutes, you're best conditioned athletes in the world. Don't fall down, Bubba. Don't call for somebody. There's no Bubba's in soccer. I guarantee I can name one of them. Rodney said he knew a kid that once was trained that way from an early age.

Two college baseball games that have been outstanding. Oklahoma's the hottest team in college baseball. Win the first game yesterday, get a 2-0 lead in the first, and all of America, including yours, truly is thinking, God, this is the chosen team this year. Then you have the guy that plays first base with Carolina who lost his father from cancer, who was in the World Trade Center and ground zero, and all that guy ever wanted him to see was his son playing Carolina Blue, and he passed before that time. So yesterday being Father's Day, Kid has an outstanding three-hit game, big contributor. Carolina comes through. Carolina ranked, I think, was it fifth in the country, Ira? One, two were knocked out during the regionals, three and four left. So that's the highest ranking team. Clearly the odds were in Carolina, but the hottest team in baseball since they say somewhere around May the first has been Oklahoma to get them there. Only hit a handful of home runs all year, and they hit just as many since the tournament started. I mean, they're hitting it. Rodney, what makes this finale more so attentive? There's more tension on this finale than College World Series before now.
SPEAKER_04This is perfect. This is exactly what they want. You want to come down to the last game. They don't want it to be a one team wins two zero. They want it to come to the third game. You got two great programs, you got two great teams. Personally, being that you're a Carolina fan, and I'm not. I'm voting and rooting for the big red. And you should be rooting rooting for big red too. You're married to Red. So I think it will be a fabulous game. I hope it goes extra innings and it's a bar and burner, and Oklahoma hits a walk-off if they're home team. I don't even know who's home team.

Being a Carolina fan, uh, we can't win one in basketball, so we we'll take one and we'll take one in baseball if we can get it. It's gonna come down to timely hitting, and that's what this World Series has been for the Tar Hills, is timely hitting, and can they get to the bullpen and hold on? That that that's what it seems like it's been for me. Uh every game that I've watched them play in, it's um when they need a hit, they've been able to get it. And uh I hope it comes down to that again tonight. I'd love to see a good game, but I wouldn't be opposed to a blowout in the Tar Hills. Or Oklahoma.

So he is now uh a Floridian from January to April, and he's done the Joe Stock thing. Instead of with the millions he has of paying anybody to do anything, he's put all new flooring in. He calls me and goes, Hey, I'm just taking a break from painting this place. Well, Joey, do you got the air conditioning? No, I'm painting the outside. Well, Joe, you ain't real young anymore. Are you? And he's going over. I just need to break. Brian, you're not gonna believe I'd had to change clothes three times while painting this thing today. Joey Camaro, a Carolina hater, out of boy Joe. Said, I'm pulling for Carolina. I want to see them win because I believe they've been the best team all year. I said, Are you are you you're a Pirates fan? Are you watching the same thing? Here's what I'd tell you. We talk about this in NCAA basketball. The Cinderella run, the the reason college sports are great is it's not a seven-game series. It's a you know, win and do it. So basketball, we used to have that quite a bit, and I think this the way packages change, NILs, et cetera, et cetera, that's changed a little bit. But baseball, buddy, this whole World Series has seen comebacks, has seen walk-offs, have seen plays where people should have made plays. In the case of Carolina and uh uh SC IRA, that game should have been over twice. You know, they caught the catch the foul ball, it's over. This is very good. I'm going on record now, pre-tape for next week. The game is three to three in the seventh when Carolina has an onslaught, and the game ends up being seven to four. Oklahoma gets one in the ninth to bring it back. I'm taking Oklahoma 5-3. Yeah, you also took the Spurs in four.

SPEAKER_04Officiating is horrendously bad in that, just like it is in the NFL.

SPEAKER_04I'd hate to see that happen. It would be level playing field. There would be no bias in it if you did that, but I'd hate to see it happen.
SPEAKER_03I'm sure an algorithm can be biased. You know, see the shit comes up on my phone. Now, uh let me tell you this as an official. Because of what you're searching. Uh let me tell you this as an official. There are times when I openly admit during a softball game, I did not see that play. So therefore, if you did not see foul, what is it? Fair. If you did not see an out, be safe. If you did not see a strike, a ball. Okay. So a catcher say, How did you miss that? Well, get that melon out of my way. Most people stand up back here and slow pitch softball. You're bent over like your yogi bear. I can't see where that ball hit. It's a ball. I if I can't see it, right? So there is a human element in there. Twelve are gonna be mad at you, and 12 are gonna be your friends at that point. I agree with Ira and you. I think that does level to say, because that's why they have the challenges now, right? You can challenge that was a strike or outside or ball, but the element of humans are the same as the humans that are playing, right? Uh and so you got to hope that are high level. Now, nobody wants to officiate even at a kid's level because the parents and people think their kids are the next LeBron or the next Donnie Mattingley or the next Merino. Shut your ass stay up there and cheer for your kids and be over with, Rodney. You've seen that as a high school coach, even. You knew what tennis players were that good and which ones weren't. And that's how you coached. With unbiased, right? You're not a parent, you're a coach at that point. Fabio, I'm gonna give you one set of a homework. But I have been studying not just the entire league, but intently on your two teams to what may be an outlook to the year. The only problem I think the Vikings got is this inner workings with JJ and Kyler Murray. And if does that cause any issue internally there? Uh, but I still think that could be, if not the best coaching staff in the league, like McVeigh and Shanahan. I think it's with top five complete coaching staff, so I don't think they let that happen. Uh Rodney, any final thoughts?
