It's been a couple weeks, but King Nut, Fabio and Rodney are finally back to shed some light on some things. First, Christopher Bell wins in Darlington. Then a few questions: Who's winning the World Series? Does Rodney have a thing for Scottie Scheffler? Is LSU still in the SEC? What happened at the Michigan vs. Western Michigan game? And then plenty of NFL prognostication!

In a world of immeasurable impossibilities, three men set out with a vision to take the sports podcasting world by the balls. Three men set out with a vision to take the sports podcasting world by storm. The dream for this podcast was born, and these three men gave it a name. Don't drop the soap sports. Brian is known as King Nut. Team 19 chooses where I get pain when I've swung too hard. Is that not a vertebrae? Ira is known as Fabio.
SPEAKER_04What the hell?
SPEAKER_03And Rodney. They're five and a half games out, and they've only played 12. He's known as Rodney. From the capital of the Commonwealth of Virginia, this is the Don't Drop the Soap Sports Podcast. Here's your hosts, King Nutt, Fabio, and Rodney.
SPEAKER_06Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and back to Don't Drop the Soap Sports Podcast. I'm the main host, the hostess with the most us, King Nutt, being joined by my insurance guy, Rodney Cole. And back from Damn Abroad to the pond on a cruise ship. For two damn weeks, he's been gone, is Fabio Ira Peters. Fabio, you got 15 seconds to just tell me in a few adjectives. How was this so said cruise? Phenomenal.
SPEAKER_04Expensive. Drunk fast. Let's do it again. Right up your alley.
SPEAKER_06That is my alley. I sound like somebody describing my normal night. That was Bob Ed Hope for the Warriors. Yeah, I was I got after that. He's getting after it right now? And I had bow jangles every morning. That makes you feel better.
SPEAKER_05You know what I had? Uh no, you did actually you didn't remember the day we left. You didn't get it.
SPEAKER_06I didn't get it the day we left. Cajun filet three days. Egg and cheese. Oh, Cajun filet and a steak, egg, and cheese. Damn, that's good. And a coffee and a diet Pepsi.
unknownDamn.
SPEAKER_06And sometimes he would eat one bow. One bow round. One bow round. Just because I'm trying to even it out.
SPEAKER_05Fabio, take a guess on what you think I get. Twelve pack and nothing? Twelve pack of nothing. What a guy.
SPEAKER_06He is a bacon and egg.
SPEAKER_05No cheese. Bacon and eggs. Fries. Their fries are amazing. Fries are phenomenal.
SPEAKER_06All right, enough about this Bojangle shit. The cruise is over. We're back to the city. Ira, what the hell happened in Darlington this weekend?
SPEAKER_04It was another Toyota ass whipping Toyota. Toyota. Toyota, excuse me. Toyota's first, second, third. Christopher Bell finally getting his first win of the year after seven runner options. I like that. Yeah, looking like a strong, strong option to win this championship. Pulled it within uh, I think it was within seven points of the championship. Another dark horse you need to look out for is Briscoe, ran good all night. Larson surprised me as good as he ran last night. Just too far back, I believe, to be able to make a to make a run at it. It's going to be between Gibbs, Briscoe, and Larson. Your boy. Larson. Denny Hamlet. That ain't gonna happen. So you think Gibbs is in the hunt of this too, right? I I I don't think he is. He'll be a distant fifth, sixth, somewhere in that channel.
SPEAKER_06You said Gibbs, so who are you really saying? Briscoe. Gibbs cars. Sorry, the Gibbs Cars. Now here let me ask you a question. I got one question before we move off. Larson. Yeah, he he's over here on that, he's on the Chevrolet trick. And I'm I I like that better, to be honest, than a Tyoda. What happened to Hamlin was winning I came back, he's a lap down.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, he got hit by uh the uh 71 car, put him in the wall, bent his right tie ride, went a lap down, lap lap down for a long time. And then he made it back. Yep, got it back, and ended up fighting back to 18th, which was pretty good for considering that that typically puts a guy out of the race. So, yep.
SPEAKER_06And how about your boy Carson quickly? I wrapped people again.
SPEAKER_04Well, he's got a new enemy. He uh Keslowski is his newest enemy. He got loose, washed up, turned him, didn't hit him again, finished him off after the race. Great interview. Said, hey, Keslowski's gonna get uh even with you. And he said, Guess I'll just tighten my belts up, boys. So makes no friends. All he does is make excitement on the drawing.
SPEAKER_06Keslowski didn't have any friends either. Well, let me let me tell you this. First off, I've told you my dad botched two names in racing. One was Toyota and the other one was Kalselowski. And I'd say, What the hell? His name is Koslowski. And he's a Dodge guy, and you're it's his name, Kowowski. I said, Dad. And he didn't hear anyway. God bless him. So that's how we went through. I thought it was a great race. I think his chase gonna get better. I do think those Toyota's got the field covered. They're just nasty as hell this year.
SPEAKER_05As long as they don't win the last race.
SPEAKER_06Well, it ain't gonna matter this year. It's a different format. They change like I change underwear. All right, Rodney. Who's winning baseball now? Who's gonna win it all? Yep, right now. Just look at it, tell me right now. Yankees will beat the Brewers. The pirates have a 0.17% chance of still making the playoffs. Uh 0.9. Oh, so it went down a little bit. They're on a winning streak, though.
SPEAKER_05The Yankees are getting healthier.
SPEAKER_06And their pitching can be really good. Yeah. So the Guardians are that is that the sixth team, do you believe, over there? You think it's the Yankees, Red Sox, and Devil Rays all out of that division? Then the winner of the essential will be either the White Sox or Indians, and the other one will be a wild card.
SPEAKER_05It's either going to be Cleveland or the Houston, Texas runner-up. I mean, there's a game between. Chicago's, I think well, I think Chicago's gonna win the division.
SPEAKER_06The Braves, the Phillies are fighting at the Brewers, and then you got the Cubs are probably gonna be in there, and then and the other div this the West is gonna have two, the Dodgers and the Padres, maybe or Dodgers and Padres and Diamondbacks are basically tied.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. So we'll that'll come down to the last one.
SPEAKER_06So you like the Bra uh the Yankees beating the Brewers in the series. Fabio, who do you like in the series if it ended today?
SPEAKER_04I still like the Dodgers. Um winning uh 7-3 in the last 10 games, Otani's out. Uh they don't they're not saying he's hurt, but he's definitely not 100%. I think they're resting him up for the stretch run here in October.
SPEAKER_06And who are they gonna beat?
SPEAKER_05They're gonna beat the Red Sox. Wow. You know who you don't want to play right now? Who? I mean, their bats are like crazy of the Cubs. Yeah, they're good. I tell you.
SPEAKER_06Curtain call. I love how he's curtain call in Philly. Yeah, he too. He talks to everybody. He does. Like Jack Parkman. You know, he said Hakuna Matata voice. Yeah, he he beat the sh out of that. Now, the reason I bring that up is uh Donnie Baseball is turning them damn Phillies around. They they are a fun team to watch play. They enjoy playing. You know, they they enjoy playing. On the other side, think about it.
SPEAKER_05It's gonna be Tampa Bay, the Yankees, and the Red Sox on the top half of the American League, and the weaker teams are all on the bottom half. So they're gonna beat each other up just to get to the like them damn coyotes.
SPEAKER_06Yep. Beat up until you get Carson to come by and wreck one of you. So determinant. Quickly, folks, we have gone through racing because this is NFL. This is what we live for. We've gone racing, we've gone baseball. We're gonna just touch on golf and scheffler. And I told you to speak about this, Fabio, but Ira Rodney has a love for that man. Almost more than any man I've ever heard about. It's it's romanticized, I believe. It is. Rodney Tellers.
SPEAKER_05I told y'all he was gonna win. Oh no, he can't win. He's in second. He said that. Fabio did. I'm talking about you. Talking about Fabio. You're smoking the crack. The guy hears what he wants to hear. I don't remember you saying that. Now that makes sense. Who was your guy? Uh that was your guy.
SPEAKER_04It's easy to pick the guy that should win every week. That wasn't the question.
SPEAKER_05The question was who's going to win? The answer was, in my opinion, Scheffler.
SPEAKER_06Why did he play IRA so well from start to finish in that tournament? Was it finally putting it together, or was nobody else up to their No, they were they a lot of them played really well.
SPEAKER_04He got off to a good start, which that's been his albatross this year. He couldn't get he could not get off to a quick start. He put it 500 in his first ground and really putted well.
SPEAKER_06And he did. He was making putts that were when they show the ground shot of it. Right in the middle of the cup. He literally read every break perfectly.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Yeah. And there wasn't a I mean Ho Hofflin's a big name, but there wasn't a huge name pressing him either. So the the pressure of winning wasn't as as it has been in some of these majors where he didn't get it done this year and was right there in contention. So he really, I think he felt comfortable all weekend.
SPEAKER_06Does he ever feel uncomfortable though?
SPEAKER_04I mean, it looks like to me if you kick the guy in the shin, hit him in the balls, and he wouldn't say sh be smiling anyway. Yeah, I still think that's inside it it's it's a different game than what he's showing at.
SPEAKER_06He's got that fire in his gut. Yeah. Well, let me ask you something I just learned about. I know he has friends on the tour, but he is an ironically a popular, popular guy on the tour because everybody likes him. What's not to like about it? No, but I I mean generally people don't like McElroy. Uh he's an asshole. That's they they don't like him. He gives you reasonable. People didn't like Tiger Woods. People that there were other players that just didn't like you. Can't find somebody to say something bad about the guy.
SPEAKER_04Yep. He's just a nice guy. Yeah, he doesn't talk smack, he goes out, he wins, he doesn't.
SPEAKER_06He congratulates his friends. I saw him on One Hole Guy Made a Putty high fives a guy. Yeah. I'm kicking him in the nut. I'm slipping with my putter. Rodney, by the way, hit me with something. Hit me with his putter at the Hope for the Warriors under the sack. Now I just want to tell you, he thought he'd be acute. Not on purpose. He hung the entire sack on the front of that putter. And I'm telling you. I'll give you that 20 when I see you, right? I was playing with a coworker who, by the way, is a 32-year-old female, and yet my buddy, my insurance man, hangs his finging Odyssey putter on my sack and drives one of my testicles up into my intestine somewhere. Best ball he hit all day. That's exactly right. Flush. But yeah, it was flush. That thing was flush as hell, man. Speaking of which, we'd like to thank our sponsor, HVAC Mechanical. We got them on here, but we also have Rodney Co. insurance agency at Rodney Coinsurance Agency.com or 804-569-6208. And if you can't find Rodney or staff there, please run up to Game Day Grill over on 301. Great Wings and Cold Shock Top on Wednesdays. Piece of orange in there. It looks like a whole damn Valencia that I get. It's uh 804-789-8005. Rodney, I think Monday, what do they got at night on Monday? Oh, you're talking about yeah, the activities on Monday.
SPEAKER_05Tuesday is singo. Thursday. Yeah, that's bingo singing. Yep. Thursday is trivia. Uh Wednesday is live music. Friday is going to start being some live music. Um, I'll be up there.
SPEAKER_06Monday night's Monday Night Football. And guess what we're doing next week? We're taking this podcast live on Monday to the game day grill. I'm just dropping that on you now. I'll talk it to you later. We're actually going to have some interaction from some folks in the place. Probably be a little loud. Be ready for that, Weigel. You're going to have to a little engineering work to get there. Now, let me flip that. Racing, golf, baseball, all great stuff secondary to the shit I'm about to talk about. First college football. Ira. Can a kid be a pro and then decide he ain't a pro and then go back to being a college player? Is that cool with you?
SPEAKER_04Absolutely he can if you get a judge in Louisiana to say it's all good. Well, what did he say? He said, I'll let you two become pros. I mean, uh from pro to back to college again, boys.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but here's the thing it's not just those two. Oh, it's all sports. Yeah, it's not just football.
SPEAKER_06So there's other sports that what changed when they were talking about he says you ain't in the conference no more if you do. Unless you were going to be driving, or they were talking about it. My son Derek had field passes that game, sent me a bunch of pictures, had a picture with Will Wade. I said, Would you kick him in the nuts? He said no.
SPEAKER_05He didn't have his putter.
SPEAKER_06If he had had his putter, he'd have hung him up there, Ju. He said that place was insane, like nothing he ever seen. And and the Steelers, you've been with me, right. That's a party. You know, that's a blocks wide tailgate, everybody's black and gold, and singing steel is going so he said that ain't LSU is on another wavelength. But what would give what makes you think, and I'll the judge, Ira, you said that. I'll ask you first, Ira, since you said that. What makes you think is it the NIL money? What makes you think it's okay now? Because I'm gonna give you a story that's gonna make you understand from years past what happened.
SPEAKER_04What I mean, I think the NIL money definitely is part of it. You're thinking about there are they gonna get paid as a pro? They're still getting paid as a as a collegiate athlete. Um, I think that is part of it. And these guys didn't they didn't make the cut, they didn't play in preseason. I mean, there was a lot of things that they could say, hey, we didn't technically become a pro. We didn't play. But yeah, I I hate to see it. I think once the once they declare they should it should be done and uh done and over with, but never know, it could be overturned too.
SPEAKER_06Now you can't go play another sport, right, Rodney. If you're a pro in football, you can go back and take your eligibility of baseball. Yes. Right? I mean That was Russell Wilson. Yeah. And uh John Elway. Yeah. Well, let me let me tell you a story. So I'm not gonna mention names because I think it's rather embarrassing for him, but people locally that are listening, by the way, uh downloads were down last week. Listens were way up. That was the last the hundredth show had a hundred and thirty, hundred and thirty-seven listeners or something, eighteen downloads, which was pretty good. Thank you for the support.
SPEAKER_05We picked up a few more at the uh Hope for the Warriors at all.
SPEAKER_06Oh, yeah, absolutely. So here's what I'd tell you a baseball player my brother was to play college with. He played against him in high school. This particular kid was a South Side boy, and Brandon was a West End boy at the end of their senior year because this boy's daddy had a much better inroad. He was a coach, a high school coach, an umpire, you know that I'm talking about. His son decided when the Cubs drafted him in the 17th round, 75,000 was his sign a bonus, which was a lot for us for that round right back then. Because I think my brothers was 16,000 in the 20th round. It was a significant less. After a few weeks of playing single A ball, which you're playing twice a day, seven days a week, you know, when you're in a short rookie league, he asked, Can I just give this shit back and I'll go take my scholarship at BCU? And the guy goes, Hey, it doesn't work like that, pal. You are now a professional athlete. Unfortunately for him, that's where his career stopped. Was it he he found out uh the love of the game wasn't quite the love of the game. I know that that is hurts when I say it hurts. What I mean by that is that's painful for a kid. He's a young kid, he makes a decision, probably a wrong decision for him. Nonetheless, the decision was made and the rules were the rules. What's changed, Rodney, uh, that people think the rules ain't the rules anymore. Even his agent Steinberg comes on TV this morning and says, they gotta let him play. And I know he's a professional even at the college ranks.
SPEAKER_05Different society now than it was then. There's so many things that those same words apply to. Not just sports in college. There's a lot of things that you say. There's no way that that makes sense. And we let it happen.
SPEAKER_06Folks, if you need insurance, if you need car, life, home, auto, wife who's backing into the RAM Andretti just pulled in. She's getting a pit stop, coming in hot and getting her lugs all changed up. If you need any of that stuff, call Rodney Cole Insurance AJ at Rodney Cole InsurgeAD.com or 804-569-6208. So here's where we're gonna go here, Ira. The next part of this was the we've had the Immaculate Reception, the Music City Miracle. We've had all kinds of sh what happened in Michigan?
SPEAKER_04Well, we're gonna call it the big house blunder. I don't know what it's gonna be called. It's uh here's the way I want to think about that game. Yes, they they said a there was a tenth of a second left on it. Let's just flip that around. If it was 14, I mean seven twelve, the other Michigan leading, would there have been any time left on that clock? I guarantee you there wouldn't have. And they would have walked out of the big house. That's not true, head held high, and now it's it makes it puts a black eye on everything. The Big Ten looks awful about it, and uh the program's gotta look awful. They've already got a lot of things. Yeah, they look like they won the damn national championship at the end of that game, which is pathetic.
SPEAKER_06All the things that they've had happen after Harbaugh left, which I will guarantee you it's almost like Pete Carroll. They opened that closet and skeletons are falling out everywhere. That's happened. Harbaugh had the same thing happening. Let me ask you, Rodney, and I'll flip it. So he just mentioned if Michigan was winning, that would have never happened. I agree. But don't you recall not too long ago, App State went in there and beat them on opening day, and I think Michigan was ranked high then, right? Six, seven or something. Uh so it can happen. Now, I did not do I don't like betting college football, I don't like making picks. I went three and seven, and the shit I thought I was making a wild outlandish pick on were the three I won, the ones I thought were easy picks, you know, uh Houston covering, all these cover I just those spreads early in the year are so wide. So I'll change the subject of that from the the weird Hail Mary that wins a game. I thought it was a relatively good opening week of football, with the exception of this. Does Dabo Sweeney is it past him because of the way he approaches the game?
SPEAKER_05I think it is. He had opportunities over the last couple years to make some changes, and I don't know if he's just unwilling to do it. But you look at his team and and LSU's team. Not even close. No.
SPEAKER_06But you see, I get kind of sideways that the fucker leaving Ole Miss to go to LSU after he'd been at Tennessee after you've been they're no different than IL money. Wherever the money's coming, that's where they're going. And what's he won? Nothing. Nothing. He won channel. I bet he don't win chest this year. That LSU team's good, but I'm telling you, they're gonna get into some buzzsaws. You're gonna find out how bad Clemson is, more so than how good LSU is. And I like Dabbo Sweeney seems like a fine human. And has done a great job at Clemson. Has it passed him, Ira?
SPEAKER_04Oh, definitely. He just what's crazy is he hasn't adapted to the new NIL, the transfer portal. He hasn't he thought he could grow all these players in the in-house and and he he did that really good when he started there in uh 2008-ish, 2009, whenever he started there, he grew that program significantly and did not change with the times. And because of that, he's fell behind. And it's gonna take a lot of money, and that's what it is. They're gonna take a lot of money for that organ that school to come back.
SPEAKER_06They got boosted. He's won one national championship, right? Two. He's won two. Two. But he's been in another one and lost, right? Or two more and lost.
SPEAKER_05Lost two. Yeah. He beat Alabama. Yeah, I remember that. And then he beat um Trevor Lawrence. Who'd they beat, Ira? When he was a freshman.
SPEAKER_06God, it's hard to tell. It wasn't Alabama. No, they beat Alabama once. I remember that. Uh and they were an underdog to that game.
SPEAKER_04So they won it in 16 and 18.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, and so Lawrence was the 18. He was a freshman. Yep, Deshaun Watson was there. But but the reason I asked that has just think about the amount of time we're talking. 16, 18 was 10 and 8 years ago. And in that much time, does that show Roy Williams, Mike Sheshewski, that group of coaches, Nick Saban, Nick Saban, does that show that they were a little bit brighter and a little bit ahead of their time getting out while the getting was good? I think they're also a little bit older than Depot. Yeah, but but still, I mean Tony Bennett. Yeah, they saw what was coming, and Bennett even said, Hey, I could I could compete under the old rules because I had a certain player I I recruited, but with this money and and the way it's working, I'm not gonna be able to keep those players.
SPEAKER_05Well, it's the money, but the other part of it is you play here this year, you go somewhere different the next year, you go somewhere different the next year. Four years they're you know. It's five teams. Yeah. And if they would at least go back to if you want to transfer, you got to set a year. Yeah. If they would go back to that, it would change everything.
SPEAKER_04To answer your question, they beat Alabama twice. Oh, 16 and 18. They lost to Alabama. Yeah against Alabama in 15. Is that against Touch? And lost to LSU in 19, the Joe the Joe Burrow team.
SPEAKER_06Joe Burrow team. But Tua did lose to them. Is that right? I think Tua was the year that Lawrence was a freshman, correct?
SPEAKER_04They brought Tua in and they won that game.
SPEAKER_06Oh, that was when they beat Clemson. No, that was when they beat Georgia. Beat Georgia. Georgia. That's right. Now you got me all discombobulated by my last. Oh, here it is. Sorry. I had fell off again. Oh, here it is. I got it one more time. Oh, here it is one more time. There it is. There it goes. Yeah, it just went out the garage. Linda opened the garage and it went out there. So, oh, here it is. I got it. Last thing, and we're moving to pro. I watched your boy Trinidad Childress. What is that his name? Trinidad. The kid from Ole Miss. It's not Childress. It's uh Chambless. Yeah. Chambless. Chambliss. Whatever. I can't believe Olex. A lot of people have him high up in the draft. I didn't see shit from the kid that I'd want him on my team. Did you watch that game? I mean, have you I that's the only player I really paid attention to through those games, knowing that he was highly touted to be a pro. Uh that read option, you can't play like that in the pros. I just don't think you can.
SPEAKER_00Refreshingly cool after coming in from a hot day. The perfect temperature to kick back and relax in front of a TV. When the weather heats up, a new Ream AC system will surround you and your family in total comfort. Are you feeling it? Ream, the new degree of comfort. Feel the cool this summer with a new AC system installed by your local Ream Pro partner, HVAC Mechanical. If you're in the Richmond, Virginia area, call 804-639-4218. That's 804-639-4218.
SPEAKER_03You're listening to the Don't Drop the Soap Sports Podcast with King Nutt, Fabio, and Rodney.
SPEAKER_06So I'm feeling very good because now we're getting ready to get on what is America's pastime. America's past over here. Steeler Nation. We won't even talk about the Steelers, but for a minute. Starts with the Super Bowl rematch, Ira. Tonight. Here's the problem. Here's what I got you. Has Vrabel been a distraction? He's been a small distraction.
SPEAKER_04Yes.
SPEAKER_06How the hell is that not a bigger distraction? They already fired the chick from the athletics. She's out.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Vrabel's Vrabel, too. He's not going to get real high. He's not going to get real low. I think he would he come in, talk to the team, and said, hey guys, it is what it is. Let's go win some football games. That's just his personality. He's not going to he's not going to get hung up in anything like that.
SPEAKER_06Well, you and I both had the Patriots falling off a bit this year, even before that happened. We thought, you know, that uh and you get AJ Brown, sh doesn't go right for him, then he's going to start his normal, whatever. I got Seattle winning. Who do you got, Rodney? Seattle. Who do you got, IR? Let's make it a clean sweep.
SPEAKER_05Tri Effecta.
SPEAKER_06Now let me ask you a question. Right there. Is Seattle as good as they were a year ago?
SPEAKER_04No.
SPEAKER_06Rodney? They're going to miss that running back.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, they're going to miss it. Kenneth Walker.
SPEAKER_06They drafted the other kid. They drafted a kid from Notre Dame, and but the other kid's outright. Charbonnet, gone. Charbonnet's out. Yeah. The whole year?
SPEAKER_04No, just week five, week six, who should be back.
SPEAKER_06Somebody at the Hope for the Warriors drafted his ass for me and he's on my bench.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but that's not necessarily a bad thing because he'll be available to you when it counts.
SPEAKER_06I got it. I got it.
SPEAKER_05And I'm not a fantasy football player.
SPEAKER_06This is the first because we had some picks for a Subo and another, and we'll get to that. That's how we're going to end this thing. But the next game that we'll talk about, some people feel both of those teams have leaped the Seattle team, and Seattle will be third place in that division. We don't count Arizona for anything worthy. So tomorrow, which I found kind of weird, McVeigh is flying them in today. They get no time in Australia. They're going to play a game and then they're leaving the very next day. Are the Rams real Ira?
SPEAKER_04They're the realest hype team that I've that I've heard in a long time. And I think they are real. Solid, solid team. It's going to revolve around the, I think it'll revolve around that running back. If they can run the ball, their defense is going to be solid. And I do have them beating the Niners. So Well, let me let me Rodney, let me flip into you.
SPEAKER_05Are they as hyped or are they rightfully hyped? They are rightfully hyped, as we have talked about many, many times. One injury away.
SPEAKER_06You got the all-world defensive player. And what some people feel no, no, I'm not giving Miles Garrett that credit. I'm talking about Aaron Donald, shoe in first ballot Hall of Fame, which by the way, he's now backed that up five more years because he's becoming a pro. He to some was Joe Green good. Now, I know that's a stealer comparison, but that is the comparison people made it to. He may have been better than what Joe Green was. And that's what some analysts have said. Man, he's been gone from two years. You can say he's been working out and he's back in shape, but when you're from 305, 310 to 260 and you're trying to get back to that 300 pounds, and you're doing it while you're working out, that ain't an easy climb. So they're gonna put him on a pitch count. We understand that. Is he gonna be the impact difference, Rodney, on the defense that most think he's going? Down the road, yes. But not right out of the gate. Ira, you agree with that?
SPEAKER_04I absolutely agree with that. What's crazy is we talk about all these non contact injuries. That's what I fear about him. You talked about two years off. It could be one simple trying to uh push his way up the field, and there goes an Achilles. I hope that doesn't happen to him.
SPEAKER_06Well, the Niners lost a guy to non-contact yesterday. Over there.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah. Okay.
SPEAKER_06Uh he they were already over there. Maybe McVeigh's onto something. Twenty hours in a damn plane, play a game, get twenty hours and come back. That could be an issue for them. But the last three international games they've played, McVeigh's handled the same way. In the day before, get themselves some sleep and rest, go play the game, but back out again.
SPEAKER_04It's just a business trip, guys.
SPEAKER_06How about you, Rodney? Who wins tomorrow? Rams. Rams. The Rams. You know, he sounded like old what's the dude from Family Guy.
SPEAKER_02Come over here, boy. Let me see the paper boy. Come over here. Do you got any of that lit in your belly button, too, boy? You like popsicles? And you need to come on down to the cellar. I got a whole freezer full of popsicles.
SPEAKER_06All right, Rodney. We're going to Sunday's docket of games. You got Rams? I got all three of us. We're right now, we're the same six picks. Same winners or same losers. Who's the first game, Rodney? Falcons and Steelers. In Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh's a three and a half point Steelers. Three and a half point. Two is now the starter. Penix has openly admitted I'm not ready. I'm not back. You have a couple injuries and a suspension on the defensive side from the uh Falcons. Pittsburgh still doesn't know who they're starting right tackle. Is it going to be the rookie first rounder Max Ahanashore? Or is it going to be Dylan Cook, who played left tackle last year? They've traded Broderick Jones to the Cowboys. Not going to matter. The Steelers are going to win. So how the three and a half is good with you, Rodney. I'm not putting that down. I'm just asking you. I think they'll cover that, but I don't care anything about covering the Steelers are going to win. What about you, says Fabio? Yeah, I think it'll be a blowout Steeler win. Now you know they four years ago they opened on the road with the Falcons the last time they played them. Kirk Cousins was a quarterback. The game was tied at 13-13 when the Steelers suddenly started sacking him. And that went for seven sacks, a couple picks. One of them was a pick six, and it kind of turned ugly. Next game, Rodney. Ravens at the Colts. I am going to go to Ira first, and I want to know why. I know who you like here, Ira. I believe it, but I want to know why.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, definitely taking the Ravens. Just a more talented team, I believe, that they they will show that that talent off. It'll probably be the last good year for that running back before he really starts to fall off. I mean, Henry's been great for a long time, but he eventually has to fall off that cliff, and this is his last hurry. And Daniel Jones, I just don't know how he could be ready to come back from his injury last year and be able to compete against this team.
SPEAKER_05Roddy? Ravens win. If this was week seven or eight in Indianapolis, could be a different story. You like Chainsteigan? He's okay. He's not O'Connell. No. Pretty good-minded coach. He did a good job last year until they were devastated with injuries. You're talking about somebody pushing the Hall of Fame back, Rivers same way.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_05You figure he was he's gonna get in.
SPEAKER_06I do, but I don't think he was a first battery. He hadn't won. He's not a guarantee. But I think he's a Hall of Famer. Yeah. I certainly do. And I love to hear him talk shit. That's he's the only guy on the planet talking shit that never cusses. Never cusses. I love that. Hey, you like that 96? Dagum touchdown. 58 yards, baby. I love that. I'm a I There was a Dagumit out there like Bobby Bowden. Bobby Bowden. I'll never forget meeting the coach when he told me, hey, Dagum boy, you better not let them coaches see you. Night though, put your big button. Uniform. Uniform, give you a helmet tonight. I said, Damn, you think so, coach? Do you want to know it's funny hour? You big old some gun. Bubba had a helmet on when he said that. He said in the lobby of the side of his head painted. I'm gonna take Baltimore too. But let me let me tell you this. I do not like they they think they got better on the defensive side of the ball. Trust me, I don't think Baltimore is gonna. I think they're still gonna struggle, even getting a defensive-minded coach to take Harbaugh's place. Next game, Rodney. Bills at the Texans. Okay, I'm gonna take this one first, so I make my pick. This guy's got fandoms over here calling him during live uh at game day. Yeah, they they believe we're live. Here's what I'd tell you about this. Something tells me I do not like the fact that Buffalo made the coaching change they did, particularly if they make a coaching change and send their head guy away and bring one of his soldiers to be the head guy. Do you change anything about what we're doing if that's the case? I I don't know. Something tells me that there's going to be special things happening with Josh Allen and that offense this year only because he's got a little bit different cast of characters and still a good running game. Their defense is suspect, and because this is the first game of the year, I am going with the best defense, what I think in the NFL, and I think Houston is going to beat them at home. I think it in no way has anything to do with how Buffalo's year will go, but I think this year, game one, that defense is going to be more game ready than the offense is on the other side. Rodney.
SPEAKER_05Texans.
SPEAKER_06He's going with Houston as well.
SPEAKER_05I agree with you. The home team early in the year is a big advantage, and their defense is really good. Ira?
SPEAKER_06Buffalo Bills. It's our first fellas. It is our first five games in, our first difference there. Now let me ask you quickly, Ira. I'm a Bills guy until I believe it. Yeah. Who is the Bills to take Josh Allen away? Who is the Bills' biggest weapon you feel? It had to be DJ Moore after that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. What about you, Rodney? I don't see a huge weapon with them. I I don't see DJ Moore as a huge weapon. I think Cook is the best weapon they got. They're just I'm thinking receiver.
SPEAKER_06No, but I'm I'm saying I think he is the brother. Yeah. Yeah. And I think he will he he makes wide receivers better because of his ability to run. And they ran it a lot last year, and I think they're going to continue to run it. Next game.
SPEAKER_05I'm sorry, I was thinking receiver.
SPEAKER_06That's all right. Next game. I'll give forgive you for Bears at Panthers. Ira, you can have that first.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I like the Bears. Up and coming team. I think they're a little bit better than the Panthers are. I love the head coach. Uh definitely going to pick the Bears over the Panthers.
SPEAKER_06Is there anything about the Bears you like in particular?
SPEAKER_04I I like how the coach, and he he's a gambler, but he's not he's not the Lions coach as far as gambling. But man, he really is a smart offensive mind, and I like what they're gonna do. I think you'll confuse the Panthers, especially first game of the year. They're gonna be really confused.
SPEAKER_06Let me ask you this question. Let me flip it. Ben Johnson or Aaron Glenn, both of them get head jobs from there. Set into two different places. I don't think Aaron Glenn got exactly what Ben Johnson got when he got there. I think Johnson had a better hand at the table. But I don't think there's anywhere close to comparison of coaches. I think he's way better than Aaron Glenn is.
SPEAKER_04I don't disagree with you at all there. And and a and a good team really does help that out too.
SPEAKER_06Absolutely. He he got the better team.
SPEAKER_05He got the young quarterback. He's got the better quarterback, is the huge difference.
SPEAKER_06I think the Jets are gonna be better this year, though, but I think worse.
SPEAKER_05Hard not to be better than last year. Shut the hell up and tell me who you like in Chicago or I think it's gonna be closer than most people think. I think the Bears will win, but the Panthers will give them a tough game in Charlotte.
SPEAKER_06I'm gonna take Chicago myself, but I wanted to take what I do you know what the spread is that shows a spread on there? Three. For the Bears. So the home team's the the dog. Yep. So they say being home. Same thing in Houston.
SPEAKER_04So it'd be even.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. One and a half. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Buffalo.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. I I don't like it, but I I think Chicago wins. I only pick different though so far through six games is ours got Buffalo is the only thing different. Next game, Rodney.
SPEAKER_05Browns at the Jags.
SPEAKER_04Jags will win. It won't be Curly. Deshaun Watson comes out hot, real hot, gets a massage at halftime, they lose. Jags takes it home.
SPEAKER_06I'm going to take Jacksonville too, but I will also say this. I thought, again, the Browns did another non-Browns thing. I think their draft was good. I think the way they've got so they just still don't have a quarterback. That's the issue. And so none of the weapons they have that they drafted, the wide receivers they drafted close together. I don't think they're gonna if somebody's slinging the thing to you, it's gonna be an issue.
SPEAKER_05Watson still has, as you called it last time we were on armed talent. No, he doesn't he can sling it. He he can still throw it. And if he can get off to a good start, I know you jokingly said that, but if he can get off to a good start this year, not have all the chirping. Yeah. You want the crowd.
SPEAKER_06Because to be honest with you, even Rotherham. Yeah, chirping in the crowd, but Rothesburg even makes fun of him on his podcast, Cleveland. They're gonna do Cleveland things, gonna have him. Here's what I'd tell you though. They got a chance to be a spoiler in that division to somebody. The Steelers, the Bringles, or the Ravens are gonna face them at the wrong time. And Steelers lost to them last year. They won't go winning. They won't go win. They'll win, but but I I do like Jacksonville early. Uh I'll ask you this quickly, Ira. Jacksonville for real this year or not?
SPEAKER_04Don't think it's the best team in the South, even.
SPEAKER_05Wow. Rodney. I think they are. He likes Houston, I'm sure. I think Jacksonville will beat them. Good. Next game. Saints at the Lions.
SPEAKER_06I'm just gonna take the biggest blowout of the game of the week. Do you think because of the shit the way the end season went last year that Dan Campbell has just been waiting to punch somebody?
SPEAKER_04Oh, and this is gonna be a punching right here.
SPEAKER_05It's in Detroit, too, so they'll they'll run it up every chance they get. It'll be Lions. All right. Next game. Jets at the Titans.
SPEAKER_06God dang. That's the bowl of the week. That's two people been hitting the balls by a putter.
SPEAKER_05I'll take the Titans. I'll go first. I'll take the Titans just because they're playing at home, no other reason.
SPEAKER_04Iron? I will second that emotion.
SPEAKER_06Old Bub Snap made after those words right there. Here's the difference. I'm taking the Jets. Let me tell you why. Somebody's got to be a loser. That would be to be wrong. If you need insurance, call Rodney Cole Insurance Agent, 804-562. 6208. He'll help you, or at least some of his more talented staff will help you. Give him a call or go to Rodney Cole InsuranceAgen.com. He calls me a loser. He's going to get a workman's comp claim because I've got a secondary job with him and he's put his putter up through my nutsack and it ain't ever coming back again. I'll just stop right there and let you know how they're going to be able to do it. I'll just put her at that with the three balls. Three balls on it. No, that's a joke. You remember that joke? What do you do with the elephant with three balls? You walk him and pitch the rhino. I'll just say, next game, my friend.
SPEAKER_05This might be the game of the of the day. Tampa Bay at Cincinnati.
SPEAKER_06Okay. Ira. Same question as Jacksonville. Is Cincinnati the real deal?
SPEAKER_04Cincinnati is for real this year. As long as Burrow stays healthy. And we talked about that. If he stays healthy, that's a playoff team. Is it a Super Bowl team?
SPEAKER_05It's a playoff team. Rodney? Not a Super Bowl team. But a playoff team. And I'm picking Tampa Bay in a set.
SPEAKER_06Wow. Rodney's going TB. Who you got, Ira? He's got Sensa Burrow. Oh, he's going Sensa. I'm going Sensa too because it's home and it's early. I can tell you the one thing that I think is great and I think is going to make people's year, Baker Mayfield's playing with a little chip on his shoulder. He finally got his money, though. He got paid yesterday. Yeah, yes. But he he's still playing with a chip on his shoulder. Somebody didn't think so.
SPEAKER_05He always plays with a chip on his shoulder, you know.
SPEAKER_06So speaking of money, you got Gonzalez, you got Weatherspoon out in Seattle. Does the Steelers give Joey Porter Jr. the money he's looking for? Because he ain't as good as those two. My son believes they are. My son believes he is. He didn't give up a touchdown last year. That's Dylan. Some bitch. We're going to rehash a whole year of me calling the guy the wrong name. That's what makes this podcast great. Rodney, he ain't answering. He's laughing. Ira. Does Joey Porter get money before because Pittsburgh doesn't sign contracts during the year? So if they haven't reached by Sunday, will it be as good as those two guys' deal?
SPEAKER_04It will because somebody will pay him. It may not be the stealers. Somebody will pay that young man. Got you. Next game, Ira.
SPEAKER_06I'm sorry, Rodney.
SPEAKER_05I was going to say, you've taken over.
SPEAKER_06I didn't know.
SPEAKER_05Cardinals at Chargers.
SPEAKER_06That's a tough one. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the Chargers win this. You know, I was thinking the same thing.
SPEAKER_05We might all three jump on that same limb. Open the big thing.
SPEAKER_06That's a big limb. That's a bit better be a big one. And I better be the one closest to the stump of the tree, or we got to be the trope.
SPEAKER_05Here's Fabio's game. Miami at the Redos.
SPEAKER_06Bobby, I'm going to let you go first, and I want a little commentary from this. Today it was announced Bowers is out. Yeah. And I found it ironic that's a big line. The Cowboys surgeon did it. Not their own team surgeon. They flew him to Dallas to have it done by the Cowboys guy. Tommy Jones be a knee specialist. Kirk Cousins getting the go. Yep. Defense, I think, looked in the preseason schematically. I like the guy that the Steelers got that was the Raiders coordinator. He's got some Belichick in him, but schematically, it looked like they're a Tampa two type team now. Looks like they're going to play under heavy shell. What do you think is the positive things there, Ira, that's going to come from Las Vegas this year? If you had to pick positive, what is it?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I love the fact that Cousins was named uh starter. He's earned it. I think he's come coming off of the Achilles from two years ago, he's going to be he's going to be much better than he was last year. Takes a couple years to come back from that injury. A solid, solid quarterback, great, great professional. Meyer is a great tight end, but even without Bowers there, they're gonna they're gonna be able to continue. They're gonna continue to and in preseason, they hooked up a couple of times some with some good plays. Uh I really like what they've done. Still need some help on the wide receiver, and the secondary on defense is struggling a little bit. So that's really what it would boil down to. How many points can they put up on the outside? Their running back's going to be solid, and their defense secondary is still a question mark for me.
SPEAKER_06Do you know what happened this time last year that we're not talking about?
SPEAKER_04Raiders beating the Patriots first game of the year. Exactly right. First game of the year, they go to New England. It costs the Patriots home field advantage as well.
SPEAKER_06They sure did.
SPEAKER_05Which didn't matter. They won anyway.
SPEAKER_06Well, do you know what they did in week two? They turned it over seven times against the Steelers and lost again.
SPEAKER_04Yep.
SPEAKER_06So they went 14 and 3, correct? They did. A couple games in the beginning. Those two, and then won a little bit later in the year. I got the Raiders. So Ira and Rodney take the Raiders.
SPEAKER_05Cousins will do a great job.
SPEAKER_06I'm taking the Raiders too, and I believe they're going to be a little better than people. Here's what I'd ask you, Rodney, if you could elaborate. Is Miami as bad as people think they're going to be? Because it's looking like it's shit.
SPEAKER_051,000% they are.
SPEAKER_06I'm feeling bad Willis made that decision because outside of A-Chain, man, they are they are hurt when they're not hurt. They got people dissent, you know, they got people not playing right, they're fighting in the locker room. It's it's getting all out of control. Next game there, buddy. Packers at the Vikings. Your team, tell me what they do.
SPEAKER_05Minnesota wins. They're at home. It's a big advantage there. Jacobs is out, should hurt their running game. I think also with Flores, he'll be able to get the bigger.
SPEAKER_06How'd they talk him out of retirement?
SPEAKER_05We had two guys go down that were safeties.
SPEAKER_06He jumped back in real quick. I hope he was in football shape. He wanted to play anyway. He just didn't want to go through all these other stuff. Well, let me ask you, he's mentioned that. I still believe O'Connell may be the most unheralded coach because he's not won anything per se, but his players have after he's coached him and put him somewhere else. Especially at quarterback. Yeah, until Dan including Daniel Jones. I mean, it's it's a litany of players. Yep. Here's what I'd ask you. Jacobs, you mentioned out, Steelers trade last year's third round pick to them, you know, the running back. He got in the doghouse last year because he let a kickoff. I was at your house when this happened, by the way. He thought college you don't have to touch a kickoff and Seattle went down and recovered in the end zone, or Pittsburgh would have been three and oh instead of two and one at that point. Johnson is named. Really good runner, but they got the other kid I think they're going to put in there. And the run game for Green Bay is critical because everything that he does, LaFleur does, is out of play action and based on the run. Ira Rodney took Minnesota there at home. Green Bay, who do you got?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I've got the Packers winning this one. Jacobs will impact them, but Lloyd is he's a good running back. He'll step in nice. And it's a year where Love has to start proving that he's an NFL starting quarterback. Last couple years he struggled a little bit to prove it, and I believe this is the year that he will start proving that.
SPEAKER_06I like Minnesota. It's home, it's opening game. I I think Green Bay is going to be a good team again. Uh, but I like the opportunity. Here's the only thing it could cost Minnesota. Is my boy the mini mite, Superman, Tyler Tyler, is he gonna be ready for this stage? Most think he is. He is a pro. And he's been around a while now. It seems like he's third year. What is this, his eighth or ninth year or something? Seventh. Been up there. So next game. Washington at Philly. I'll take this first. I'm gonna take Philly home. You know, these two teams split a lot. I'm gonna take Philly. I think Philly is not as good as they've been in years past. Others think they're gonna be better. I think they're gonna be not as good as years past. Ira, who do you got?
SPEAKER_04I got Philly as well. Just a more talented team.
SPEAKER_06Ira Philly. And Philly to my boy Rodney, Rodney Cole Insurance AD, he's 8046208. Damn it, get some insurance before he hit you with a putter. All right, next. Cowboys at the Giants. Okay. Let me preface this. These two teams split a lot, too, even when one's really shitty. They're at the Giants, right? Harbaugh, Jackson Dart, tough knit team. I even had a pick this week where four of us picked two Super Bowl teams. The owner of Ivan Steakhouse, Ed Hall, and Ira Wilson, all we all pick and I have to drive down there to get into that. No, yeah, you do. It keeps it on a napkin right behind the bar. Uh this year, because we've rolled over two years now, and the putt pot's up there, he uh told us all we're all picking four teams. Oh. And damn if my last, my third pick wasn't Dallas. I don't know why, but if their defense got any better, they're gonna be really good. I too am I gonna take Dallas in this game. Rodney.
SPEAKER_05Giants.
SPEAKER_06NYG. Ira. Cowboys. Do you think the Cowboys are as good as I just described? I do. I think their defense did get better. Well, hell yeah. I think they're gonna be tough. Got that kid from Ohio State. They had a good draft, and they the trade. But the kid they got in the trade with from Micah Parsons, and then the trade they got from the Jets, they're impactful players, right? So I think they're gonna be pretty good. Next game. Which will be the Monday night game.
SPEAKER_05Which we will be live at game day. Game day grill. Denver at Kansas City. Fabio's taking Denver. You can put that down. I'm taking Kansas City. The question is who you're taking.
SPEAKER_06You're taking Denver, Fabio? He loves Denver.
SPEAKER_04He loves Denver. He's been on Denver since last year. Yeah, I'm taking the Chiefs. I hope they tie. Hope the Bastards tie.
SPEAKER_06I hope they tie zero to zero with 11 injuries.
SPEAKER_05So at one point this year, the Raiders can say they're in first place all alone. I picked Denver.
SPEAKER_06I picked Denver as well. I picked Denver as one of those four. At Kansas City, my boys back. I think Kelsey is at the end. They get the running back for Super Bowl MVP. They struggled a little bit on defense for them last year with Spagnola. I don't think he had the same talent. And they trade away their corner to the Rams. I'm going to take Kansas City too. All right. So that's two, four, six, eight, ten, twelve, four. That's all 16 games. And here it is, folks, week one. You're going to hear it from us right now. We get these picks at week one, week eight, and then not again. Week one, Super Bowl picks from the NFC. Rodney, you're first. A legitimate pick. He's going Minnesota. It's legitimate. It's legitimate. Ira? The Lions. NFC. Oh, golly. I've heard that a lot. I've heard a lot of prognosticators.
SPEAKER_04Really?
SPEAKER_06I'm taking the LA Rams as my NFC pick.
SPEAKER_05Not wishing anything on anyone, but I think for whatever reason, the Rams will get decimated with injuries this year.
SPEAKER_06I don't disagree. I'm just saying right now, and they're all healthy, I'm saying the Rams. It may change a week ache we pick again. Now, Ira, give me 10 seconds on why you picked the Lions.
SPEAKER_04Schedule. That and they have something to prove. And their schedule definitely does help finishing fourth. So uh in their their um division last year with a weaker schedule. But that's a really talented team. And you're gonna see Gibbs be more involved than he has been caused of Montgomery being traded to the to the Texans.
SPEAKER_06So was Montgomery gonna be as good in Houston?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_04Montgomery's on a down. He's on his down.
SPEAKER_06I think that was a good trade for the Lions, to be frank with you. You had to pay one or the other. You picked the right one, I think. So uh but it's intriguing, man. So we have two NFC North teams, and I got one from the West. I'm gonna flip it to you, Ira, for the AFC first, your representative.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, going way out on the limb here, and I'm gonna pick the Buffalo Bills. Why Buffalo now? It's their year. Mahomes is taking a step back. He's not gonna be 100% healthy this year. He seems to have Lamar's number, I believe. I believe he's the more talented quarterback when it comes to that, and that team is gonna explode this year. That offense is gonna be unstoppable. All right.
SPEAKER_05Rodney? I am actually going out on a limb. I'm going with Kansas City. It's gonna be a repeat of the third Super Bowl. Although this time the Vikings hopefully will win.
SPEAKER_06Well, you know what happened that time? Lynn Dawson went in and smoked four Marbros at halftime. He was smoking them on his sideline. Came back out and put a weapon on somebody. I guess you couldn't say sh to them then. They had to have a job under offseason. Now that offseason is a job. You got the Steelers? No. I do think the Steelers are going to surprise people and be better. Everything has to work for Pittsburgh to get there. What I mean by that, there can be zero injuries. There has to be some favorable bounces for them. I do think they're as good as Buffalo or Baltimore and Cincinnati. I think they're better than Baltimore. I think Cincinnati's the one that scares me more. If Cincinnati got any better on defense and they stay healthy, Cincinnati's a world beat. I like Buffalo too. If you get any better quarterback play out of Stroud, Houston's a Super Bowl team, in my opinion. They're on the other side of the ball. Early on, I like the defense to do that. But this may shock you both. Man, I I think it's an LA Super Bowl. I think the LA Chargers are the representative from the AFC. And it's going to be at SoFi. It is. So there may be 20 people there if both teams are that because nobody goes to the home game. It'll be a home game for whoever they're playing. But they don't go. So it'll be all the time. So you heard it in week one right now. We have Lions, Buffalo out of Ira, Vikings, Chiefs out of Rodney, and Sneed as the Chargers and Rams. So there you have it. Fabio will have a first-time Super Bowl winner if his happen. Yes, I would. And I don't think the Lions have been. Never. So they haven't been. Buffalo's been. Them and the Vikings are holding hands with that 0-4. That 0-4, yeah. I want to hold your hands. You know, Terry Bradshaw said it best. He said, You ain't go but to four Super Bowls, Jaysa, but I won them all, son. I won the big game. That's where I played. Jordan never lost in the final. I'll just say that, LeBron. So how about that, big boy? Who you boys got winning at all? I like the Rams. Clearly, Homeboy has the Vikings. Who do you got? I have the Lions. So we all have NFC teams winning as of week one. Now, again, we're resetting in week eight. Between eight and nine, this is when we pick it again. Thank you for all your sponsorship, Dusty. If you know you need some air conditioned work done, you need some plumbing, do some things. Heat and air, call HVAC Mechanical. They're great. You need insurance needs. I'm telling you, it doesn't matter what kind of insurance you need. Rodney Cole Insurance AG has it for you. That's Rodney Cole Insurance AG. Rodney CoinsuranceAC.com or 804-569-6208. Again, you can come to uh Game Day Group on Monday night. That's 804-789-8005. My bet is Rodney and I will be in the back corner away from all the crime that happens up front where and we'll have Shock Top with cold Valencia oranges splashed in it, some wings and maybe a salad. If you know somebody, come up, we'll get you on, we'll talk to you and ask you a few questions about your NFL prowess there and what you'd like to see. Fabio, I'm glad that you're back from that cruise. Me too. I heard it was rough as shit. Your wife posted on Facebook, it said, secure all loose items. Uh that's what I used to tell my wife when we first started dating, by the way. She'd say, What do they call you? I said, Space Mountain. She said, What does that mean to me? I said, Keep your arms and legs inside my bed, secure all loose items, and enjoy your ride. You'll be back in 60 seconds. That's a long ride. That's a hell of a ride for me.
SPEAKER_04Just so y'all know, Jabir Gibbs, MVP of the Super Bowl.
SPEAKER_06Oh.
SPEAKER_04Well, I'm gonna tell you, Matthew Stephanie.
SPEAKER_05That'll be a first time that somebody is the MVP and his team's not even in the Super Bowl.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Gotta do something.
SPEAKER_03Wow, that's a bitch.
SPEAKER_06All right. We will talk to you all very soon.
SPEAKER_03If you want to reach out to King Nut or Fabio, do it by email. Don't drop the soapsports at gmail.com.
